藝術家自述
莊禾，作品專注於手繪動畫的特質延伸，探討其中製作的苦行與時空的情感堆疊。如果說影幀是理解時間的一種方式，那麼動畫則重新組合了來自不同當下的片刻，創造出新的時間和空間維度，其所展現的影像不是在特定地點記錄下來的實景，而是經過選擇性的創作，通過觀察和拆解，將局部轉化為可見的敘事，旨在喚起虛實交錯的空間感，促進人對存在本質的反思。

ARTISTS STATEMENT
CHUANG Ho's work focuses on the extension of the characteristics of hand-drawn animation, exploring the asceticism and emotional layering of time and space in its production. If image frames are a way of understanding time, animation recombines moments from different instances, creating new dimensions of time and space. The images presented are not the recordings of actual scenes at specific locations but are selectively created, transforming parts into visible narratives. The aim is to evoke a sense of intertwining between the virtual and the real, promoting reflection on the essence of existence.
