我的作品融合了貼箔、繪畫與版畫等媒介，擬構想像中的場景。

「禮物」系列的創作概念是由包裝材的裝飾花作為動機發想，使用了鳳梨花和緞帶兩種符號構圖。以「禮物」為主題，葉子為緞帶，金屬箔為各色包裝紙，結合鳳梨花包裝成各色禮物。運用抽象植物與裝飾物之間的對話，隱含「祝福」和「希望」的雙重意象。

「深海寶藏」系列創作湧動著向死而生的希望微光，對人與環境的生存提出疑問。我試圖美化無能為力的狀態，使這個狀態開展出殘破的燦爛，獲得被注視的可能。我的作品就像是一個現實世界的縮影，作品中『災難的變形』與『人性的廢墟』都是建立在這種相對性之上，與真實人生相互周旋。

STATEMENT
HSIAO Pei-I's work combines the media of metal leaf, painting, and printmaking, creating a fictional and imaginary scene.

The decorative flowers of packaging materials inspire the creative concept of the "Gift" series. It uses two symbols, pineapple flowers and ribbons, to form the theme of "gift", leaves as ribbons, and metal leaf as colorful wrapping paper. Pineapple flowers are combined to package various gifts, using the dialogue between abstract plants and decorations to imply the dual images of "blessing" and "hope".

The "Deep Sea Treasure" series of works surges with a glimmer of hope for life in the face of death, and raises questions about the survival of people and the environment. I try to beautify the state of powerlessness, so that this state can develop a broken brilliance and gain the possibility of being noticed. Like a microcosm of the real world, the "transformations of disaster" and "humanity's ruins" in the work are all based on this relativity and interact with real life.
