ONE ART Taipei 2026 藝術台北

『忘形之人』為 2026年「暮拉多元藝術空間」於 One Art Taipei 所提出之策展主題。其構想概念源自英國人類學家梅蘭妮‧查林傑(Melanie Challenger)的《忘了自己是動物的人類》一書，透過重新思考身而為人的意義及其身份界定，藉以回應人與人、動物、自然、信仰，甚或與文化之間的連繫關係。

當形體不再是穩固的邊界，而是一種可被鬆動、轉譯與再生成的存在，這樣的「忘形」遂指向了一種自我更新與不斷建構的狀態。人與非人之間的界線、自然與人為的交疊、精神與物質的流變，皆於此顯現。作品彼此構成一種有機的呼吸，人們似乎也就能從物質身體、動物象徵、語言符碼與文化賦形之中，感受到藝術家於生命樣態的展現——以創作作為對形體的參與行動，也作為一場對人之為人的再探問。

Metamorphosis of Being is the curatorial theme presented by The Moolah Multi-Art Space at One Art Taipei 2026. The concept draws inspiration from British anthropologist Melanie Challenger’s book How to Be Animal, which reconsiders what it means to be human and how our identities are defined. Through this lens, the exhibition reflects on the intricate relationships that bind humans with animals, nature, faith, and culture.

When form is no longer a stable boundary but a state open to loosening, translation, and regeneration, Metamorphosis emerges as a process of renewal and continuous reconstruction. Within this shifting field, the boundaries between human and non-human, the natural and the artificial, the spiritual and the material begin to blur. The works form an organic breath among one another, through which viewers seem to perceive the artist’s expression of life—manifested via material bodies, animal symbolism, linguistic signs, and cultural representations. Creation thus becomes both an act of engaging with form and a renewed inquiry into what it means to be human—a reflection on the vitality and transformation inherent in existence.
