藝術家自述
成長於台灣，六年級末段班，在電影系畢業後，曾從事影視現場錄音工作。

2017年赴法留學，就讀電影創作，並以電影的社會實踐為創作主軸。從探索認同議題出發，在資訊流動不斷的後現代全球化環境中，透過創作持續重新定義自我的概念，在自我認識與外界之間找到平衡，試圖剝開既定框架的包裹，讓創作回歸到影音媒介的本質，視其為擴展人類經驗與知覺的工具，喚起共感能力，成為相互連結的有機橋梁。

ARTISTS STATEMENT
Born and raised in Taiwan in 1979, right between Generation X and Millennials, Kuang-Hsing Tuan has a background in film production and previously worked as a location sound recordist. In 2017, he moved to France to study filmmaking, focusing on social engagement through cinema. His work explores identity issues in a postmodern, globalized world where information flows incessantly. Through creative practice, he continually redefines the concept of self, seeking a balance between self-awareness and external perception. Tuan's creative approach aims to peel away predefined frameworks, returning to the essence of audiovisual media as a tool to expand human experience and perception. His works strive to evoke empathy, forming an organic bridge that fosters connection and understanding.
