鄭哲奎，1979年出生。鄭哲奎並不任意丟棄或排除那些看似陌生、偏離期待的事物，而是透過探索新的接觸點與關係，試圖以某種方式將它們重新納入整體之中。他的創作不急於對事物作出武斷的判斷或定義，而是細緻地辨識每一種表達中微妙的語氣，並將其相互連結，藉此喚起一種詩性的想像力，尋找通往美好整體的線索。其創作從繪畫出發，逐漸延伸至裝置作品、藝術計畫及手工縫製的線繪作品。他以細膩且含蓄的造形語言，溫柔地接納來自邊緣位置的微小聲音，同時探索並實踐不同立場共存的可能性。

JUNG, Choulgue born in 1979. Rather than arbitrarily discarding or excluding things that seem unfamiliar or contrary to expectations, JUNG, Choulgue works to somehow embrace them into the whole by exploring new points of contact and relationships. Rather than hastily defining and defining, this work evokes a poetic imagination that meticulously discerns and connects the subtle nuances of each expression, seeking clues to a beautiful whole. Beginning with paintings and evolving into installations, art projects, and hand-stitched thread drawings, the artist's work embraces the small voices of those on the periphery with a delicate and implicit visual language, exploring and practicing the potential for the coexistence of diverse perspectives.

정철규는 익숙하지 않거나 기대에 어긋나 보이는 것들을 함부로 내다 버리거나 배제하는 대신 새로운 접점이나 관계를 탐색하는식으로 그것들을 어떻게든 전체에 포용하려는 작업을 진행하고 있다. 이런 작업은 섣불리 단정하고 규정하기보다는 표현 하나하나의 미묘한 뉘앙스를 섬세하게 헤아리고 연결하면서 아름다운 전체로 나아가기 위한 실마리를 찾는 시적인 상상력을 불러일으킨다. 

회화에서 시작해 설치작품과 예술프로젝트, 손바느질 실드로잉으로 진화하고 있는 작업은 섬세하고 함축적인 조형언어로주변부의 작은 목소리들을 따뜻하게 품으면서 다양한 입장들의 공존 가능성을 탐구, 실천하고 있다.
