「身份的交響：⾃然、⽂化與理想世界」
「身份的交響：⾃然、⽂化與理想世界」聚焦於個體、⽂化與理想世界之間的互動關係，建構多維身份語境。策展核⼼概念在於探索身份的延展性、⽂化元素的當代轉化，以及理想世界中身份與媒材的交織。此策展強調身份作為多層次交響體，呈現個⼈、社會與⾃然元素的共⽣與對話。
在議題層次上，策展分為四個⽅向：⾸先，⽂化元素的當代轉化，呈現歷史符號如何在現代語境下延續並重新詮釋︔其次，個體感知、情感記憶與時間延展，探索身份在歷史、⾃然及社會環境中的⽣成︔第三，都市環境與社會互動，強調身份在公共空間與社會群體中的張⼒與交互︔第四，理想世界的想像建構，透過象徵性媒材與多維創作語⾔，探索身份與⽂化共⽣的可能性。
本次展出七位來⾃韓國與台灣的藝術家，透過繪畫、攝影、數位影像、版畫與雕塑等不同媒材，在區域⽂化、個體經驗與當代視覺語境之間展開多聲部對話。來⾃韓國的藝術家為展覽建⽴與在地⽂化語境相連的觀看起點︔在此基礎上，台灣藝術家則推進展開對歷史記憶、感知經驗、地⽅⽂化與形式轉譯的多重探討，使展覽形成⼀個兼具區域連結、媒材層次與策展結構的整體。
崔惠智(CHOI, Hyeji)以具敘事感與⼼理張⼒的繪畫語⾔，處理都市視覺、觀看經驗與⽂化情境之間的細微偏移；鄭哲奎(JUNG, Choulgue)則從⽇常秩序、時間感與微觀觀察出發，揭⽰個體如何在⽣活系統與社會節奏中被形塑；姚瑞中(YAO, Jui-Chung)以圖像揭露被忽視的社會景觀，透過繪畫、版畫與攝影，以幽默與反諷回應時代的集體記憶；⿈建樺(HUANG, Chien-Hua)則以數位影像與象徵性場景構築⾃然、社群與觀看機制之間的關係，在敘事與戲劇性交錯中表述當代身份的流動與張⼒；蕭筑⽅(HSIAO, Chu-Fang)以素描⼿稿累積⽇常細節，並以近似塗鴉、⾃由游移的繪畫語⾔，描繪幽默⽽真實的想像世界，映照個體⽣活狀態的微妙變化；廖昭豪(LIAO, Chao-Hao)透過紙漿轉譯台灣寺廟與地⽅視覺遺存，探索民間圖像在雕塑與繪畫之間的跨媒介⽣成；林義隆(LIN, Yi-Lung)則遊⾛於版畫與雕塑之間，透過線條、結構與動物形象的反覆轉譯，展開⾃然、身體與城市寓意之間的多重對話。媒材實驗性體現在跨材質運⽤、符號化元素與空間設置的創新組合，呈現身份、⽂化與理想世界的複合層次與多聲部交響。與觀者的互動旨在讓參觀者感知身份與⽂化的多重交錯，體驗理想世界中身份的延展與社會共⽣的可能性。
此策展與KIAF SEOUL在地與國際定位緊密結合，將亞洲當代藝術的⽂化傳承與歷史脈絡置於國際化語境中，使展覽呈現本地⽂化特⾊，也回應全球觀眾對藝術創新與跨⽂化對話的需求。透過理想世界的象徵性表達，展覽提供身份、⽂化與⾃然交織的多維體驗，呈現當代亞洲藝術在全球舞台上的創新性與策展深度。

Symphony of Identity: Nature, Culture, and Utopian Worlds
Symphony of Identity: Nature, Culture, and Utopian Worlds focuses on the dynamic relationship among the individual, culture, and utopian imaginaries, constructing a multidimensional framework of identity. At the core of the exhibition is an exploration of the expansiveness of identity, the contemporary transformation of cultural elements, and the ways in which identity and medium become intertwined within imagined ideal worlds. The exhibition approaches identity as a layered symphonic structure, foregrounding the coexistence and dialogue of personal, social, and natural elements.
Conceptually, the exhibition unfolds along four directions. First, it considers the contemporary transformation of cultural elements, examining how historical symbols persist and are reinterpreted within present-day contexts. Second, it addresses individual perception, emotional memory, and temporal extension, tracing how identity is formed through history, nature, and social environments. Third, it focuses on the urban environment and social interaction, foregrounding the tensions and exchanges through which identity is negotiated in public space and collective life. Fourth, it turns to the imaginative construction of utopian worlds, exploring the possibilities of coexistence between identity and culture through symbolic materials and multidimensional artistic languages.
The exhibition brings together seven artists from Korea and Taiwan, whose practices span painting, photography, digital imaging, printmaking, and sculpture. Together, they open up a polyphonic dialogue across regional culture, individual experience, and contemporary visual discourse. The Korean artists establish a point of entry grounded in the local cultural context, while the Taiwanese artists further extend the exhibition into complex reflections on historical memory, perceptual experience, vernacular culture, and formal translation, shaping a presentation that is at once regionally connected, materially layered, and curatorially structured.
CHOI, Hyeji employs a pictorial language marked by narrative sensitivity and psychological tension to explore subtle shifts among urban visuality, spectatorship, and cultural atmosphere. JUNG, Choulgue begins from everyday order, temporality, and close observation, revealing how the individual is shaped within systems of daily life and social rhythm. YAO, Jui-Chung brings to light overlooked social landscapes, using painting, printmaking, and photography to respond to collective memory with humor and irony. HUANG, Chien-Hua constructs relationships among nature, community, and regimes of looking through digital imagery and symbolic mise-en-scène, articulating the fluidity and tension of contemporary identity through an interplay of narrative and theatricality. HSIAO, Chu-Fang accumulates fragments of everyday life through sketches and drawings, and, through a near-graffiti, freely drifting painterly language, depicts an imagined world that is at once humorous and real, reflecting subtle shifts in lived experience. LIAO, Chao-Hao translates the visual residue of Taiwanese temples and local imagery through paper pulp, investigating the cross-media generation of folk iconography between sculpture and painting. LIN, Yi-Lung moves between printmaking and sculpture, unfolding a multilayered dialogue among nature, the body, and urban symbolism through repeated translations of line, structure, and animal imagery. The exhibition’s experimental engagement with media is embodied in its innovative combinations of heterogeneous materials, symbolic elements, and spatial installation, presenting identity, culture, and utopian imagination as a complex and polyphonic constellation. Its engagement with viewers aims to make perceptible the layered intersections of identity and culture, and to open an experiential space in which the expansion of identity and the possibility of social coexistence may be newly imagined.
Closely aligned with the local and international positioning of KIAF SEOUL, this curatorial project situates the cultural inheritance and historical trajectories of contemporary Asian art within an international framework. In doing so, it foregrounds local specificity while responding to a global audience’s interest in artistic innovation and cross-cultural dialogue. Through symbolic articulations of utopian worlds, the exhibition offers a multidimensional experience in which identity, culture, and nature become intricately entangled, presenting both the inventive force and curatorial depth of contemporary Asian art on the global stage.
